He came by and didnt even have me start it up for him. I had the hose ready and everything. I cleaned it up real nice...gave the leather a treatment and everything.....it looks real nice. He later sent me a text saying he talked to his pops and it wasnt really what they were looking for. Honestly I think its too small for him. I am a tall guy probly about 6'1" but your buddy is taller then me and bigger. I barely fit in the driver seat so maybe that was the reason. But yeah I heard you guys had a good time and I watched your video. Your boat looks awesome man. I will have one just like it one day. Thanx for trying tho. Ive got a couple people wanting to trade but they are far....looks like I just might be takin a road trip.

ya dave is huge.hahaha. i thought that might be a concern. but he has a little truck so he needs a little boat. i dont think his v6 will pull my boat very well. I will keep spreading the word. but like i said before i will never trade my boat to go fast. i love the extra room in there. i dont care if it barely hits 60mph. that is more than fast enough.

Well I know all Jet Boats are pretty small inside but untill I got mine I didnt realize how small. I really barely fit because of my legs. But him beeing taller and bigger $:-\$
But yeah.....60 would be good for me too. I dont care if your boat does 80 mph......the conditions have to be perfect to be hittin those kinds of speeds and I dont like beeing limited. If I want to go out I want to go out. The way my boat was slamming down at the Lake it was just pissing me off.

ya it is fun when i am at the lake with the flat bottom guys. after 10am. that is when i start calling them out to race. i will have 6 people 2 coolers and the dogs in my boat and it still does 60 and cuts right thru most any chop out there.

then i am king of the water. and i have the fastest boat out there..lol.. good luck on the hunt. the mini day cruisers are awsome look for one of those.

Hey GoKart not all Jets are that small. Take a peek at mine. I think it is what you are looking for. I traded up from my smaller jet to this one I have now. It is a 21' OPEN Bow. Its the best of both worlds and keeps the women happy. Not as fast as my 18', but as Aquaholic said earlier, I wouldnt trade it for the world! I am 6'3" and have no problem being comfortable in it. It did take a while to find one though with everythig I wanted on it. There is a guy over on RiverDaves that is selling a really clean Carrera open bow for like $8500. PM me if you want his info!

I responded to your add on Craigs List, and just wanted to follow up on SoCalJetBoats. I have a 21' 1976 Hawaiian mini daycruiser with a Berkeley JC-A pump that I am very interested in trading for your Seguaro. The 455 Olds was completely rebuild last season at a cost of $4,000. I have only put about 10 hours on it since. I have wanted an open bow jet for quite some time, and it sounds like you want a bigger jet. It might be a happy marriage for both of us. I sent you 4 pics on CL, so check them out and tell me what you think. My only concern is that I'm 6'1" and about 225lbs. and whether I would have a difficult time fitting the drivers seat. I live in NorCal in the SF Bay Area, but would be willing to drive to SoCal or meet somewhere in between.

From what I remember , SAGUARO's were copies of the Kona (which is what yours looks like , and beisemeyers (which is what mine is) It is breaking my heart having to get rid of mine

Oh well , life goes on . Good luck with the sale . Never thought I'd ever see another Saguaro .
