10K is a lot of money unless you're very rich. The people that are very rich are not going to buy (most likely) a 32 year old jet boat when they can just buy a new one (for a lot more). Most of this country is hurting for cash right now, house value's are way down which is going to leave a lot of people unable to pull equity from their homes. In short, it's not a good time to sell from a monetary standpoint. But river season is coming up quick, if it isn't already here, so you're going to have to be patient.

IMO, I'd never spend 10K on a jet boat that doesn't have a divertor on it and wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Daycruiser's generaly get less cash than sportier models.

Lastly, nobody likes to deal with a dikhead (not saying you're a dikhead) and when you get a reply that rubs you wrong you should think twice about posting up something that may make you look like a dikhead. "Thanks for the bump" works for me irregardless of any perceived negative reply.

ok hot rod, If you have a 56 you probly think it is a classic and you would be right. This boat is a classic and is restored. That isnt cheap. If a dikhead as your self dont want to buy it that is fine. Some like ford some like chevy. I have seen some big pos on this sight that want way to much for way too little, and I mind my own business. However I think that if you like spectras then this one is well worth the price. I also feel you both should feel like diks for even responding like you have. So I guess I have to defend what I have and I will. This boat all so has some playboy hisory that also adds to its value if you like the spectra 20s. So anyone interested in a nice cruiser dont worry about the last 2 a holes. Have a nice day!

Not saying mine is better or worse, just saying it is SIMILAR.  My boat was for sale in the Boat Trader mag. and on the streets of Havasu for over a year.  The guy wanted 10K down from 12K when I first called him. Called him 2 months later and he took 6K.  Boats are worth what someone will give you for it (especially in November

Every nut and bolt has been replaced. I have come down from 14k only because of gas prices. The engine is mild but runs sweet and the pump has been bluprinted and the new seating which I need to post pics of beats most newer boats. The trailer has even been totaly rebilt, hitch surge breaks and all. If you are selling something like this for 6k then I am intrested. This boat is always covered in a carport. Sometimes I just crank the sound system cause it sounds so good.

ps i like the lime green, is that new gel coat or orig.
