Long time lurker, first time poster. I have a question for anyone out there willing to give their firsthand advice.

I've had a hell of a time selling my boat and my buddy suggested I donate it to offset a little increase in income that I'll be receiving this year. He never personally donated, but he said his bro-in-law did a couple years ago. He couldn't remember the name of the place, so I was wondering if anyone has ever donated their boat, or anything for that matter, what was your experience with it, and if it was a good experience, what is the name of the place you gave it to?

I did a little google search, and based off of my quick preliminary search, I kind of liked http://www.CharityBoats.org and http://www.onlineboatdonation.org. Has anyone ever used any of these places? Good? Bad?

Hell, you can donate it to US!! Our rebuild was put on hold for medical reasons, but something on the water NOW sure would be nice 'til things get back to normal..... Hahaha just joking
