if i was selling my roller motor i would expect the buyer to ask me to tear it down for inspection, but thats just me, because the price would not be cheep
But this guy is selling an entire boat and not just an engine, claiming pretty new interior, pump with FTN hyd Place, engine, etc... Stating the obvious - if a prospective buyer showed up and it's interior looks new, pump's exterior looked new, crawled underneath and the impellor looked new, etc... is the deal going to fall through because the guy doesn't want to pull the engine and tear it apart to prove it's got a stroked roller engine in it? I doubt it. If everything looked "right" I'd believe the guy in that he's just trying to dump it due to his upcoming divorce. Also obvious is that if everything didn't look new and the seller is claiming it all is new... uhmmm... How much would you sell your stroked roller engine for? He's asking 5K for the whole boat, your engine has to be worth a
minimum of 5K in it's used condition, which would lead me to believe that his engine is probably worth close to the same (assuming it is what he's claiming).
Sounds like a killer deal to me.
