Mine was stiff when working it back and forth on the trailer. Once I got it on the water and under power, it was amazing!
How was the block? 8ba's are known to have thin cylinder walls and crack at the deck were the water jackets are closest. I know a few guys that deal in trad rods and are big into flatheads. I will put the word out for you.Also.... Is it still standard bore? How was the crank (std. or under) if under how much? Does it come with water pumps?carb?
