There should be casting numbers on the top behind the left cylinder head that will help.

Well, the gears I dont know. I talked to Casale at Irvine last year, said they can run the serial numbers. Talked to Jerry at v-drive videos, said he would bet 22's. The prop, I dont know It's a 3 blade 12". Best I can figure I'm looking for a 11, 11 1/4-15 two blade. HP, I dont know. It's a .030 454 with two 1050's a 671 10% over, 990 heads with crane rollers, cam I dont know, TRW 8:1 pistons, 4 bolt block, dimple rods (guess) and steel crank with a Dooley 14 qt pan. There is video of me running next to Nordie in his Spectra 21', He said he was tachinng 4500, I was taching about 2000- 2500. As for speed, the onlything I have to remotely compare to Is at Parker We ran next to Ralph in his 70 MPH family boat, said we ran away from him in the chop with cav plates all the way down. Like you said, shit gets blurry after that. I always try to see the boost gauge, kinda behind the steering wheel, kinda bouces up around 6-8, tach needle about straight up 5000 or so, I dont hold it there long. I tell the ole lady to watch the gauges but usualy her feet go to the dash and she just hangs on. We need to borrow a GPS w/ memory. Sorry not much help. I believe the 427's balancer does not have a counterwieght on it. feel the inside lip of the backside of the balancer.Should not have any lumps.The 427 is internally balanced.

Cool! I thought that the 427 was a rare combo. what kind of rpm's were they good to?  any markings on the BB heads that identifies them? A really nice runnin' little motor.

I've got a fresh 454 .30 over with a 671 that spun my AA berkley to 6000 rpm. and dyno'ed to 7000 @ 744HP with room to go. I'm thinking that it will run nice in a V-drive.

Used to turn an "A" impeller in a 18' Renegade at 6500, with two 600's on a ram, sounded real pissed, too much compression though, 11.5:1, got fuel at the airport.

If there aren't any numbers on the block somebody took a grinder to it. Pull a valve cover and tell us which heads are on there. I have all the books if you need any ID help.

Yep, 744 on dyno with the new smaller cam.  My new 540 on the 944hp pulley is spining the same pump to 6700 rpm.
It's an MPD pump. Im hitting the rev at launch or when hitting it at mid rpm at so I need to have it worked on before installing the 1012 hp pulley.
Runnerbottom, T-deck, not a sprint. seller says it's a 5/8 but l haven't measured it.
