Sorry to hear about your module issues. I had a Fiero once (no laughing! Well, ok maybe a little laughing

) that was eating modules. Turned out to be a faulty MSD coil. Changed that out to a stock one and problem went away.
One thing that's vital when changing the module is that the mounting surface is clean. Use a soft nylon or wire brush to get any corrosion off that plate. Then make sure you use the goo that comes with the module. It's there to conduct heat away. Any old goo or corrosion will inhibit heat transfer and could fry the module.
