« on: June 16, 2007, 02:52:57 PM »
I have twin 15 or so gallon Imco tanks on the Tahiti. What is the best way to get fuel from each tank.

1. Twin electric fuel pumps with switch??

2. Mechanical (cheap)

3.1  electric fuel pump with switch??

 What are you guys using??

The Hondo has a single electric pump that pulls from both tanks at the same time.  I've been told that if its pulling from both tanks and one tank runs out of fuel it will stop pulling all together.  I understand that by pulling from both tanks at the same time it helps equalize weight as fuel is used but I'm still considering adding a valve so I can run one tank down and then switch over.
