double check the bolts around the pump.  my panther's "box" was damaged when whoever installed it before me overtightened the bolts, thus crushing the fiberglass and creating cracks for a leak.  it wasnt noticeable while sitting but im guessing while underway the force of the water creates the leak between the hull and pump face (theres just a little foam gasket to prevent leaks).  After the pump was removed I reglassed the area, and fortunately I was able to find a "plate" from a member on pb/rdp named CaS that helped spread the load of the bolts rather than just the washers.
