Installing a Flush Connection

Just recently got my first Jetboat...455 Olds. Am going to run it in salt water and need information on whete/how to install a fitting to hook up a hose to flush the engine. Any help would be very appreciated.

splice it into the inlet water line from the jet.

just remove line from jet, then hook your hose up instead of the jet pump. DONE

this is what i did on mine

Doesn't need to be that difficult.

I used a female pipe tee off of the inlet fitting from the pump, installed a garden hose to NPT adapter, and cap it off. When I need to flush it I use a hose to hose connector.

All parts should be in stock at any hardware store.
