Last summer I pulled out the old worn out 330hp motor and replaced it with a 500hp LS6. I'm running logs and the new motor sounds awesome. Everybody that gets behind me now says It sounds like a big boy boat now. Everyone also tells me that the logs are a huge horse power robber. What exhaust would go guys run if you were going to change. I want something as reliable as the logs and the new exhaust would have to still fit under my engine cover (not a hatch). And of course sound awesome.Sent from my iPhone using SoCalJetBoats mobile app
Dog house? What type of log do you have? If they are the Harman and you have the step down removed already on the snail making 3 1/2... I'd say your only at a 30ish rob and leave em alone. Logs are pretty bitchn...
Sorry to thread jack, but this step down removal that you speak of... How hard is it to do? I never really paid too much attention to it, but if I can remove it easily and make some more power. That's a win win.Sent from my iPhone using SoCalJetBoats
