Almost sounds like a busted crank! Did this happen while the motor was running or did it just sit a long time?

if the pump spins free , I'd pull the oil pan before I tried to force it anymore.

What do we do after we pu;; the oil pan ?

i've got my motor back before with oversize bearings on a stock crank. I did all the same stuff trying to figure out why it wouldn't spin.

The motor is 100% brand new and sat for 6 to 8 months and the pump does spin free???

 Believe it or not, "humidity" will cause the crank/ rod bearings to rust if so it will lock up. Depending on what rings you have they could rust to the cylinder, did you use a light weight oil in the cylinders?  the lighter the better, my new 454 project was locked up so i filled each cylinder with tranny fluid and the next morning she was loose as a goose Did it have oil in the pan? what did the oil look like? How /where was it stored?

nice flatty at this point i wish i would have bought aa turn key boat like that and i would have saved a lot of money to,anyways the motor was stored in so. cal i dont think it had oil in due to the fact that it had never been started,as far as the bearings go im not sure what the motor has this is my first jet boat and not really sure what it is i have
