New Fuel Sending Units
« on: March 07, 2008, 10:34:00 PM »
Ok, I'm getting ready to install new fuel sending units in my IMCO tanks and want to know, since the tanks are both the same and the sending units are the same and cut the same, is it possible for me to adjust them using just the one tank I have pulled and then when I get the other tank out just drop the sending unit in and call it good, or should I wait and adjust them in their own tanks?

At least this way I can have them done and the other one ready to go.  I should be taking lots of photos but just don't think about it as I go along.  I just found more house insulation used as fiberglass, under the tank.  This is the second or third time I've found this.  What I don't understand is, where they put this stuff there are no holes through the hull.  Just one of those cheapass jobs some idiots do.
