Looking for somewhere local that has this exact scoop in stock, want to walk in and buy it, summit has it but won't ship til August, I'm in the ie and don't mind traveling a little...

  The only place that I know you can get one just walking in some what local is Skip Jack.  The make skip jack fishing boats and scoop.  They are in Hesperia Ca 888-947-8337  part # ET-112 would look nice on your boat!  I don't think they make one that looks like the one you have in the picture.

It's really tough to find these in a shop. Try jegs. They normally have them in stock

Try J&M speed center in riverside. They prob don't stock it, but can maybe get it sooner than summit.

Well it's in primer and holes are drilled, got 1/4-20 stainless hardware for now, just tryin to get it decent for this weekend. Anyone have any tips for stripping powdercoat?? The scoop tray is powder coated red, I'm looking to polish it.

aircraft paint remover and a nylon bristol brush hit it with the pressure washer. Don't get it on your skin though.
