So I went with the recommendation of electronic ign. From the points on that olds which wow what a diff! After that swap however I'm noticing my tach is stopping at 3k. I doubt my motor is turning so low. It was at 4k before the swap. Do those pertronix ignitor kits make a mess of them? It's idling around 6 or 700 which is about where it seems to be and it climb s steady like it's all good. Wiring is correct.  I've never seen a tach do that. It's running obviously better and I may have more top end as well
