Hey....everybody has a Slowvette....show me some stats that a Slowvette will beat a G/T 40 and I may a agree....A vette is as easy to buy and to own as a VEGA....what does that tell ya!!!

A G/T 40... Not just owned by anybody.....by the way...it's extremly endorsed by Carroll Shelby....where does the Slowvette have a backing like that??? Also...by the way..the older vette's...the big block boy's...the fuel injected boy's...they WERE an incredible car! I gotta admit..I like 'em both,but cuz I'm a FORD Guy....I think the G/T 40 is the BOSS!

Remember it's Ford GT..........not GT 40.

I'd take the GT, because I'm a Ford guy, but that Z 06 is nothing to sneeze at. That is one bad ass car.

Hi Tony,

I picked the boat up from the interior guy last week he did some correction work on it. The interior looks great. I'm going to re-set the valvetrain this weekend ( I backed it off a few months ago) and it might get drug up to El Cap next week or the week after.

I put a different carb on it, want to see how it run's and how much gas it will use. The gas use will be hard to tell at El Cap, but it will be fun to take it out back to see if it can top 100 off the Nos.

Hopefully we'll see ya at Martinez this Summer.

I think when you were referring to the car that any kid can get financed on you were referring to the stang! talk about run of the mill!

I know what the pic was! Lets take the new Mustang gt 500. 500hp. The limited edition 427 z06 is 505hp with an actual msrp of 84k while the gt 500 is at 43k. Even better is the 'stang is only a 5.4l and the vette is a 7l. As far as the viper goes..... what a pos. It takes dodge an 8l v-10 to get 600hp. If I was a neutral minded car buyer, I would take the stang every time on the basis of it having almost the same amount of power as the limited edition zo6 at half the price. Then again opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one and they all stink.

Ok, so this is a side by side of all three done by automobile magazine. I would say that they are all hanging side by side! But when you look at the fact that the GT wasnt made to hang wit the vette and viper but to compete with the Ferrari 430 and a Lamborghini I would then have to say that the GT isnt living up to what it was made to do. Oh ya, the only way that the GT is even hanging with them is that it is Supercharged from the factory, It couldnt even hold its own without the boost!

The GT is not a straight line drag car! The GT has a lot smaller engine than the other 2. The GT has better numbers on a track when put up against other exotic supercars. The GT was built to be a Ferrari killer and it does.

I'm not sure what comparing Vettes, Stangs, Ferrari's, etc... has to do with Chevy engine's vs. Ford engine's in boats but I'm entertained by the comparisons.

I MEAN PROVING THAT THE FORD IS FASTER ON A TRACK. THE DODGE WAS OVER A SECOND SLOWER THAN THE OTHER TWO. WHILE THE FORD WAS HALF A SECOND FASTER THAN THE CHEVY.

The Viper is slower on a track because it has much less invasive "keep the driver safe" tech built into it. The guy described it as a Harley on 4 wheels for a reason. Its old school feel is uniquely USA. Interestingly give the choice of those 3 Supercars he chose to drive the Viper first. Probably another reason it was slower getting around the track.

Yea but the guy is talking to the camera the whole time, who knows if he got serious about it and 5 laps in each, and then got an average. I just posted that video because of how close they all are. There's also videos like that saying the Z06 beats them all, and some saying the Viper is the best
