Why on the side if dry OT headers?
Basically out of harms way and less likely to get whacked.
The instructions should state to install at a slight "upward" angle (wires up) if on a horizontal pipe, this is to prevent condensation from forming.
Never on the bottom.
Thoughts? This is the way I did my motor home and my Chevelle. Worked killer.
Non wide band are not as critical I've been told. The heated ones are a little delicate.
