so after yesterdays drunk "n" freak out....i got it together ..its not coming from pump its a pushrod/valve/lifter chatter noise...cant pin point which one...the chatter speads up with rpm's...could be a stuck plunger on the lifter?

If you running a mechanical fuel pump try to hear if the sounds is coming from that area. It could be the pump push rod rattling cause the cam lobe or rod is worn.
