There is that nice beach across from Foxes that we can hang out in!! I'm staying in my trailer at the blue water RV resort!

Heres the deal.....I have yet to figure out a place we can all crash for the day.

What is not going to work is a sand bar - its just too damn cold to wade in water.

We need 2 things - a launch ramp and a beach - preferably close to each other, and the beach is accessible via car - not everyone attending is going to have a boat.

La Paz would have been perfect, but I am now finding out about this swamp meet deal they are having. I am going to call them tomorrow anyways just to see if maybe they can accommodate us.

Another thing is ideally, we dont want to be too far from the hotel either. Buckskin is another option, but its farther up river.

Remember, we still have a month and a half to figure this out.

If i remember right theres a rd that parallels the river you can get to from the blue water rv camp i think theres a beach down there not positive tho but it would be accessible by car and if you dont want to spend mobey on the hotel you can camp on the rd for free my buddy races jetskis and thats what we did for the race out there last year

Hey brad
The launch sucks at buckskin
Slick, steep, and lots of currant. Just up the road is River Island State Park
Its has a very nice ramp, lagoon and a beach.
If the beach is not big enough to accommodate us, Buckskin is affiliated with river island so you can still use the beach there

As much as I would love to partake in the shenanigans, the 9 hour drive is a deal breaker for me.

That being said, I will make it out to at least one SCJB event this summer. Already planning for the Burley Regatta and wanting to squeeze in at least one more race and one event.

If we can have this much fun in a forum, I can't wait to see what can happen in person.

There is a nice ramp with a free launch in betwwen two houses by the keys.. Has a pretty good parking area..

Why not have the beach meet up at emerald cove across from the keys? That beach is huge.
