Don't want to hijack the thread but I went to check the complete 2015 schedule to see when the April dates were exactly, and it seems there are no dates in April for an official SCJB shindig.

I just wondered why? Didn't there used to be?

This is that trip. Depending on other events (boat races) and where Easter falls, this event falls either late March or early April.

I can't wait for this event, got the room booked Friday til Sunday. This will be the first time the new boat will get to see the river. Never stayed at bluewater before but if it's anything like the avi it should be a blast!

Last year they were writing tickets for no baffles, but those were all dry running headers

The only serious thing to be aware of, and I will reiterate this more as the event comes closer, is that the ENTIRE RIVER in front of the Bluewater is a No Wake Zone. A couple of guys last year came out of the marina and got on it. One of them got pulled over. So from the dam all the way past the RV park is a no wake zone.

LOL I remember my first time there, couldn't figure out why there were no bouys. I couldn't figure out where the No Wake Zone was. Had a bunch of folks yelling at me and I just didn't put 2 and 2 together real quick. DOH ! Fortunately never saw a cop, just a few pissed boaters. Hey I wasn't the only one either.
