The 2015 "October Trip" will be taking place October 9th - 11th. The spot will be Big Bend of the Colorado State Recreation Area at the North Beach which can be accessed by car if you are just coming to spectate. There is a decent  launch ramp and the North Beach is huge now and 100% Sand. The Park is located south of Laughlin, north of the Avi on the Nevada side. Launch fee's are somewhere under $20 a day. The State Ranger's that run the park there are super friendly and are very welcoming to our group.

The group rate info is below for the Pioneer in Laughlin. I have 40 rooms blocked at a rate of around $49/night. Please wait to call until I post the rates to avoid confusion. The have ample boat parking and its right outside the rooms. Its not a 5 star resort, but its decent. They are open to us hanging out and having a few drinks in the parking lot at night.

I made reservations last week.  They would not give me a discount for being a Veteran, AAA member, current DoD employee or just me being a senior old fart. Please call me with the details for the SoCal Jet Boat discount so I can call the Pioneer and switch my reservation to get the discount for having a COFFIN in my room.

I just called the Pioneer to change my reservation over to the SCJB109 code.
I will have to call back tomorrow, evidently Shirlie is the only person that can make the switch and she was MIA this afternoon.
I am looking forward to burning a lot of fuel and seeing everyone.
