Damn bud... no one called you a asshole. But take it how you want. Once you read the post mouzer makes it perfectly clear they are short on room that's why it's a v drive only deal. And as far a jim saying "some v drive guys can be asshats" that also goes two ways. There are plenty of jet boat owners that are asshats as well. Same as there are plenty of v drives guys that are stand up dudes as well as plenty of jet boat guys that are the same.

. I said boat owners that covers all. I've meet all kinds and so far the biggest ass hat I have meet owns a jet boat.

3 reasons I don't want to go


1. No motor in my boat at this time
2. I would not want to put my boat in Elsinore in its current state.
3. I would not want to go where we are not wanted.

No one's bashing vdrive guys, like Jim said there are bad apples any side you sit on.

The execution of his statement was what rubbed me the wrong way. Yes, Billy B asked me to relay a message to not have a ton of average jet boats swarm his event due to space, but the manner wasn't being a jackass like this guy, which may be looked upon by him as getting our feelings hurt by how he said it. Bottom line is when you post shit like that, it doesn't come across good in any way. If you want a successful event and people to respectfully show up, get some tact. Billy B worded it perfectly to me, this guy sounded like a elitist kook.

Attention!!!. I was just reminding anyone that would like to attend Jan 1st OR the TPM you can pull up your Hot Rod's on my private beach.; It is clean and 3 times the size of Weekend Paradise. Wade at Weekend Paradise sponsors the V-Drive event and has not enough room. No launching or parking from my beach yet  you can pull up and enjoy the day. Just like hanging out in the cove. my roll has been slowed Brad..  I totally understand mouzers post was alil untactfull..  Iv always said you guys have been more than welcoming to the few of us vdrive guys on here. And I have learned a lot from the the people on scjb and love the site and enjoy coming to events and meeting the people on here..  I was getting the impression of all us vdrive guys being assholes,  and people not taking into account that socaljetboats.com and socalvdrives.com are in fact one in the same.. That's all.. Carry on gentleman... Thanks for everything you all do..

So seems like this Jacko guy has pissed off quite a few people with his way of dealing with the situation. Apparently, he has deleted his posts off FB and claims there will be a signup sheet at this weekends event and next year will be 'invite only'.

I got under his skin on PB a bit but he still doesn't get it. Still thinks us 'jet boat guys are morons'. Just do me a favor and ignore him - hes doing a great job himself driving his own event into the ground.

Seems to me at any event all sorts of boats show up. To me it doesn't matter it gives fellow boaters a chance to see what other boaters have and ask questions.

So is the TPM on the 7th or the 14TH? I was at the VDrive show on the first and drove a cracklin 680 HP jet boat to their beach. No problem.

doc  you were cool u idled in (no rollers) and parked at the end of the beach and watched the show......we saw ya  you were very respectable of the event ...........was a great day....cold but  but a great turn out.
