I just finished up with the motor swap, it's official, I am chevy powered now

I'll be heading out to Piru sometime before the end of the week (test n tune) if all goes good, I'm in. We missed out on the San Antonio trip, so I told the girls we would camp out that weekend (13th-14th), I am pretty sure we will be going to Piru. Buenavista might be a little far for us but we'll see where you all decide to go.

piru is off the 126 about 20 min west of magic mountain so lets say it will be piru for day trip or buena vista if flytime can put together an overniter i just need a good jetboat day so lets see what the next couple of days brings the more the better

Piru sounds good to me, I was talking to Natedawg, and Rick, (the guy with the day cruiser @ San Antonio this past weekend) and they will be down to go as well. The campsites are nice, we will probably pitch tents for the night.

Well it looks like I might have to bail out om my own stinkin trip.

Have some schedule conflicts that I just found out about last night. There is still about a 10% that I might be able to go. I should know in the next couple days. I will keep you guys posted.

I havn't been to BV since I was a kid, but from what I hear the flies are a real pain in the AZZ. I will still be dialing in the motor, so I dont really want to travel to far until I know it'll make it whole weekend

.....Yes the olds ruined me, I have had to end every trip early this summer because of the olds. I am confident that the olds/chevy swap turned out good. but I would still like to stick a little closer to home just in case. The downside to Piru is that it is a mini ocean from like noon til late afternoon. I will probably take it out this friday or saturday and see how the initial test and tune goes.

never had problem with flies let us know how it goes this weekend have lots of chevy parts to help out and we all have that same burn from otms god lovem ps if your motor breaks just a reason to drink more beer

Don't sweat the Chevy, we got parts & tools, it can be fixed if it breaks. BV is only an hour from Piru anyway, what's an hour? Bring Rick (guy with the Commander cruiser) with you too!
