I was planning on coming for the whole weekend and then found out that I HAVE to go to the Rodeo on Sunday because an almost family member is riding in it, I tried to get out of it but no go!

yeah i pleshed out sorry guys i was looking forward to it, but my water pump went out on my truck so i took it in for warranty...anyway so i had them fix some other stuff and anyway the bill is going to be 1300 and i may be stuck with the bill, because i have an edge programmer in my truck...the water pump to purchase is like 700 bucks freaking diesels

thats complete bs....dont let them stick you with the bill...they have to prove that the part(s) failed because of the aftermarket part(s).

example: they cant void your warrenty on your transmission because you put an exhaust on your car. it happened to me with vw...they even went to the extent to say it was associated that since i had an exhaust, it means i was driving it wrecklessly causing the 1-2 syncro to fail.    ...yeah, maybe i slammed it into 2nd a few times launching it at stop lights, but prove it.

i drove that thing like it was a fully insured rental....and it took it.

By Federal Law the dealership "MUST" prove at "THE DEALERSHIPS EXPENSE" that the aftermarket part/accessory caused the part to fail, PERIOD!

I have been thru this with several cars/trucks, because every vehicle I have I must modify. And with vehicle purchases on the down side, dealerships are going to be looking for ways to make some extra $$$. And since they are paid for warranty work at a set amount they will tell you that its not covered and charge you full price.

If they try to tell you that you have to pay it because of your programmer...say "Prove It"!
