On a side note, please don't offer my wife any alcohol that weekend, she's in recovery and doesn't need the temptation, on the same note, don't be afraid to enjoy your own alcohol, it's her problem not yours.

I'm bringing a little, got lots of small stuff and a few good sized oak logs that I need to split smaller, probably can't build a "northwest fire"   (a Northwest fire normally requires a chainsaw and a winch on your 4X4 )

Well I am hellbent and committed to this motor swap now, I just picked up a new/used (10K miles) crate motor, and I need to sell off all the olds stuff to get it put in, but I do have all the goodies lined up, I dont think I am going to be able to make it for the weekend though, but I do have a couple buddies that have boats with no plans for next weekend, so if I am not swamped doing the swap, maybe I'll try and borrow one of them for a day. And no the crate motor isn't staying in it, it'll just get me through the remainder of the summer and then the real 454 wil go in it. Its going to be a drag going through all this work and have a slower setup, but at least I will be able to work out the bugs before I hit it with the built motor. This really sux, I have tried for a couple years to pull something like this together @ San Antonio and now its happening and I am boatless... .....Ok I better get out of here I am getting pist thinking about it. I am pretty sure I have everything but the headers, and if I can pull off a small miracle (financially) I will get it done this week. I just went out front and looked under my tree bt no money fell out of it over night, I will keep looking 

Did the Sanger get wet today? So...is Road 1 going to be the official gathering spot? I have never stayed on the North Shore before so there is a good chance I will get lost.  . Wife got a new job so it looks like I wont be showing up until EARLY Saturday AM. Save me a spot. See ya there.

Yes the Sanger got wet and you'd have to be Stevie Wonder to Get lost    Go to SA North shore (101 north past Paso and San Miguel to Jolon road west , go thru the North shore Gate and Turn right  on ROAD 1 ,its been pretty hot 90 to 100 bring lots to drink ! call my cell if you get lost 805 975 5155 Tom
