Thanks for your concern brother.

I have work covered for that Friday, the 11th. I have all weekends and all Federal Holidays off, so I should be good to go.
I'm looking forward to seeing and boating with everyone.

My jet is 19 foot and I take it to Havasu all year long but mine does have more free board than some members boats.

You got some balls bud been there done that many of times half the time was just getting through the ocean up to the mouth to get to the upper sandbar when it used to be open on holiday weekends. Once I I got up there I could hug the shore and my ass off til we broke a stringer coming back wasn't a fun ride back but made it

Jetinator, was that comment part of your original post? Broken stringer BUT MADE HUH! I love my Hallett and that is exactly why I have not boated on Havasu since the late 80s. White caps are not fun.

Ok if you guys say so there is the Lucas drag boat races in havasu that same weekend and I'm sure there boats don't handle chop very well.

yeah, because they are racing on a closed course in that 'bay'....controlled environment.

I grew up going to havasu on a 16' boat when 23' was the biggest boat out there. Its just not smaller boat friendly anymore. Come up/down on the river and you will understand. Havasu is a joke compared to the water conditions on the river....unless hanging out in the stagnant channel and getting an oil ring around your belly is your thing...so be it. I get it, some people like havasu for the party environment, but it just isnt worth it to me to spot a titty or two in the nude to risk sinking my boat.

I've been on the river before, whole reason for getting a jet was for use on the river. Anyways if this ends up at avi ill probably make it out got my boat stored at oasis right down river rd from the avi. The past events look like there always a blast.

Havasu ha!! Cat tail cove ,sand point are ok gets u away frm the big part of lake but still crazy,over here ur close to the copper canyon and havasu springs,,other than that thumb down,,,,,,,
