well, i had one....but the first trip of the year just got overtaken by another event....so im still trying to figure out what to do about that.

Thats what i said mark! I think the only time we will get them down there is for the southwind regatta. .

I would love to see another event on the lower river, but the problem is it ends up being small groups of people staying all over the area. A big part of the fun of the SCJB events is being able to hang out, BS, drink and just have a good time together after the boats go on the trailers. Unfortunately there isn't a central place that can accommodate a group with rooms and parking for 15-25 boats. McIntyre is cool but tent camping is out of the question for most people and trying to get two trailers down to the river becomes a problem also.

Crew chief we need to take over that hotel again wher u me Sam and everyone else stayed . When I took over the pool area and BBQ that was nice. Sam can't drink there though hahaha

You guys know the drill on the existing SCJB schedule that has been happening for the past few years (bluewater in march, avi in may, big river june, big river august, and avi/laughlin in october)

I dont want to move any trips as the above rough schedule works pretty good already. If anything, maybe add a 6th event in July, but we would have to work around 4th of july and any other reoccurring events that happen that month (i think the CP regatta??)

Just FYI southwind regatta will happen in october again.
