wow what a turn out this is going to be... we now have a total of over 33 rooms.. plus..
from this site and PB.. now if your have book your room great.. and make sure when you arrive you get a room with all the other boaters by the ramp and you get the $45 a night rate

so now if you are thinking of gettin a room you now have til FRIDAY 4-20-12
I have talked to AVI and we moved to friday ...

Now for some more news
the big shot at AVI is friends with the owner of priates cove and he asked me if we would want to run down there

if so he would call the owner and see if he would set something up for us like boat parking and so on.. so what yas think any one wanna do that as well
my self I,m totally not sure ..this will be my first time with the bird so I might stay close to the AVI

BUT NEED A SHOW OF HANDS and I,ll email him that there is some interest..

We just got back after spending Saturday on the water around the AVI area. We ran from Willow Valley up to Lazy Harry's with no problems (about the same distance as AVI to Pirates). I haven't been to Pirates Cove yet but I'd be willing to bet a lot of the SCJB guys would be up for a run down river.

I'd recommend planning something for Saturday mid-day so we have time to hang out and still get back before it gets dark.

the distance from the Avi to pirates is not the same from the Avi to Lazy Harrys.

its about 25 miles each way from the avi to pirates cove.

I have no desire making that trip. i dont suggest trying to plan a trip like this....just keep everyone at the same place....why split up the group?

$12 drinks and $7 "ships n salsa"? no thanks. If I want drinks, I'll go to lazy's.

I said it was about the same from Willow Valley to Lazy Harry's as it is from AVI to Pirate's Cove.

I'm easy, I just want to be able to run the boat, float and hang out with the SCJB peeps.

I'll be heading up river to the back bay and Lazy Harrys. Might have to throw a fuel jug in the boat so I can make it to Laughlin and BUZZ the casinos!!!
