I just emailed my contact at the Avi to see what the story is. If it is sold out, that's disappointing.

Well the trick at the Avi is to call every Monday early for cancelations they always say there sold out but that's the trick u will get one !! That's per management Chris or Daniel top dawgs at Avi I got family that works there so that's the trick !!

I called yesterday around 330 and the lady there "Sandy" knew who I was going to be there for. She knew the group code and said that she was getting a lot of calls for that event under the SCJB group code. Looks like it will be another bitchen turn out by the SCJB crew.

I got clarification on this. There was a rumor running that the Avi is already sold out. This is not true. They are only sold out of dual queen non-smoking rooms in the beach tower (the tower near the boat parking). Their reservation agents are terrible. They just put in what you looking for and stop there and say they are sold out. They dont bother looking to see if anything else is available.

Yes, rooms are going quick, but no, the Avi is not sold out of rooms, only a certain room type in the 1 tower.

Just got ok from the wife gonna try and book a room tomorrow. This will be our first over night stay. Because we're just going to drive back and forth to the Parker meet. From what I here 1/2 the fun is after the sun goes down.

We booked on our room, didn't ask how many were left, buy she new what group I was with and booking was smooth. Still had my info in their system from last year. SCJB people always represent very well, looking forward to another great weekend.

Yeah, this racing thing is getting spendy. looks like were hitting chandler in april and havasu in may. Trying to rack up them points!

Launch pass ya not needed they ask for last name and ur launch pass .. All u gotta do is hand off to sm one and u are free !! I been going there before that' place was built !! Indians are coo long as u are coo with them .. There hourly pay remember

for the record, they dont have the guy out there checking passes until memorial day weekend.....in years past, no ones had issues launching without a pass on this mothers day trip we do.
