It is the 9th. It was changed to the second weekend because it interferes with the new year weekend ever few years and we changed it so people could be out of town and such with family.

we had a group of about 10 boats the first year, we went and talked about Tommy, drank a couple beers and headed back to the trailers. Its a day to remember a guy that was very passionate about what he did. Tommy would stop what he was doing to help anyone that came by the shop. He would stay late to get you finished up. He was just a good person and loved boats.
It's kinda sad how the next few years went down with a bunch of dipshits doing stupid stuff. Most of the original guys don't even bother going anymore because the shit show it had become. I hope it continues for many more years. It gives me a chance to tip one for Tommy and hang out with friends and talk about and show off what we are all so passionate about. Our Boats. we would line up a few grudge matches and turn em loose, but then the ski boats would come out and go 4 wide going back and forth churning up the water and swamping all the boats parked. I could go on about all the shit that went south, but lets just forget all that and just remember why we do this. To remember Tommy and our sport.
