Rail kit fab
« on: April 07, 2014, 09:58:52 PM »
So I'm wanting to build my own rail kit for the Bahner...

I was wondering if anybody has a template for the motor plates? Or if anyone has some plates I could make a template from?

I know I could figure it all out by mocking the motor up in the hull and taking a bunch of measurements, but I figured I'd ask first.

Hit  up jim Brock he has a welded up jog with a telescopic piece for the driveline alignment. I built my rail kit wasn't that hard and used a jigsaw to cut my motor plates out then used a router to bevel and clean up the edges

I built my rail kit that I had in my hondo. Used a basic bellhousing as a template
