so i just repaired the floor on our boat.
so a little back story.... when looking for a new boat i had one major requirement must have a good hull warranty. the reinell has a lifetime hull and stringer warranty so we went with it ( i didnt read the fine print). the boat has been great, other than it not being a jet
well the floor started to flex and i called the manufacturer and they said that it is covered and FREE but i would have to deliver it to them... no problem right?? they're in Oregon and im in socal

so my options are pay to have the boat shipped by UShip $1 grand each way, drive it myself about $300 drop to it off and $300 to pickup it up not to mention food and souvenirs on the way $??, pay local shop $?? or fix it myself.
i fixed it myself and here are some pics. Cost - fiberglass tape $25.99, hardener .44pt (fast) $20.99, resin 1qt $41.99
problem - separation at a floor seam
after seat removal (hours - 1)
carpet removal, which was hard trying not to damage it (hours - 1)
adhesive remover, i read here on SCJB that the citrus stuff worked and surprisingly it did very well just roll in on and putty knife it off (hours - 2)

i used a HF tool to cut the epoxy,they made it easy to remove the floor panel in case you have to remove the tank but it is a week spot. (hours - 2)
i screwed a support board for addtional strength (hours - 1)
refilled the seams with epoxy (hours - 1)
total 8 hours
