I wouldnt use home d resin/cloth for anything that needs structural integrity. Search for a good local fiberglass business.... We have fiberlay in san Diego. They have gels, resins, mats,ext...
Why not? Evercoat sold at Home Depot is the same as Evercoat sold at your local paint store. The problem I have is the fiberglass is ridiculously expensive.
Small repair HD is convenient, but if you need decent quantities of material, it's probably cheaper to go to a specialty supplier. I have know idea if Utah has them, but I use S&W plastics. There's a few of them here in So Cal. They have resin, gel, glass, and tools pretty reasonably priced.
