There's too much hull lift in a flattie for a jet to load right. light chop will raise the hull out of the water and cause the pump to unload, guys who think they can make them work also don't have the skills to get out the go peddle fast enough and will shortly grenade the motor. Ride is 2x rougher than when you have a prop in the water. Besides 40+ years of knowledge would kind of indicate that it doesn't work but if you insist go right ahead. By the way resale value after it doesn't work is basically the SCJB price ($50)
