whats the best way to mount side saddle fuel tanks?? the original mounts have come apart, help?

HB mag (RIP) did an article a while back where they glassed in some alum, plate that had studs sticking out of the plate that matched where the tank mounts are. This was a good idea so you would not have to drill holes in the boat hull. I cannot remember the month I think it was last Summer maybe.

My supports are glassed in from the factory.  I glassed some in the back end of the tank and to the floor in the center of the tank.  Well, my painter actually did the glass work .  The boat is at his shop and I will take some pics if I get over there tonight.  As far as the epoxy, maybe someone will reply that has tried it with some feed back.
