i believe he has a 19ft hallett bubbledeck like us. except where yours is yellow/white and mine is blue/white and haulsballs is red/white jet fever's is green/white. super clean too

Trying to find some history about Hallett I can't find anything anywhere I know they still make boats today but why are there so few old jets not a bad thing I'm proud to have one of the few but were they low production? were they only special order back in the 70's? were they a splash? If any one has some info to pass on I would really appriciate it.

You've made a great choice for a boat. You're right that Halletts aren't as common as Eliminators, etc. The biggest reason is price and availability, Hallett never built spec boats. Each one was made to order for each customer (for the most part). The fact that they're basically a custom boat made the price higher. People didn't really care about the great ride, superb craftsmanship or longevity of them, they were more into the fastest, cheapest way to get on the water.

The bubbledeck, sportdeck and jetster molds are in Australia where they're still being produced today.
