79 Southwind, is this a good Hull if not what would you recommend, I'm getting ready to buy another jet boat? Thank you for any feed back.

Never owned one but father in law won't stop talking about them... May be the nostalgia talking. From what I've seen, well built and sought after hulls

You really can't go wrong with anything from the Southwind line.  The issues you'll run into will be caused by abuse or neglect.  Look for damaged or rotted stringers or transom wood, soft spots in floors, delamination... that kind of stuff will be found in any hull, you just need to be on the look out for problems.

The problem with America is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
