By the way, Hardin also owned Berkeley a few years later and that made it very tough for us (in my opinion) at Advantage. I was GM/rigger there and the owner had a rule that we couldn't buy parts from any company that built boats AND supplied parts. This was a few years after Advantage was up and running because they built a ton of boats early on with berks in them. So we couldn't buy Berkeleys because Hardin built Tahitis/Carribeans, couldnt use Dana billet parts because they also built boats and there were 2 more players like that but I can't think of them right now. Those were the main 2. Again this is my opinion mainly from my years for working with Roger but if you're not using a berk you're doing it wrong. lol He wouldn't build a jet without one, many tried to get him to install another pump but he stayed true to his way of building.
