In about a week or two you can get them from me, but I'm not sure otherwise. I'm hoping to also be able to provide rear bench seats that match the front and some other cool stuff.   ;)

My scoop .

Buy it on eBay, the guy is selling your scoop on eBay uncut. I don't want to copy the scoop and sell it for less than what the guy is selling his scoops for.

It's totally do-able, but if you plan on selling it on eBay you'll have to sell it cheaper than the what's already on there. Is it worth it?

Mine sits kind of funny on some plate to raise it up from the carb also . I can explore other avenues.

It's raised up (probably) to clear the float level adjustments on your BG Holley. Two more ? 1 inch holes in the scoop and it doesn't need to be raised off the carb at all.   ;)

It does have the two 1" holes but I think they screwed up by cutting the hole for the arrestor and not the carb flange.

Kewl, got any pics? I saw a scoop like Omars on ebay, not the one that has been posted here, simaler but has the two holes in the front with a little strip down the middle. They show a bunch of pics on oldtime dragsters. I think he's been getting 140 a pop for them. Next time i see 'em i'll post a pic.

Marc and I made a mold. Only thing that's left for the mold is to smooth out a couple of "spots". Then when we stood back and looked at our creation we realized that the major supplier of these expensive seats makes them fockin' crooked!   >:(  We then went on the internet and found out that the pics of the seats you see are usually taken in a way that you can't tell that they are crooked.   >:(  However, Marc and I compared them to every single drag boat style of seat we could find and they were all exactly the same - crooked.   Whether they were recently bought off of eBay, in an older drag jet, or on several older v-drives  ;D

Marc's and my plan is to offer a quality product. So we're going to eliminate the ribs on the mold, cut the mold much straighter than the "other guy's" seats, make smooth backed seats first, and after a few of those we'll make a bucket with straight "ribs" on it's back.

I'm curious to know, just in general, if you like drag boat seats with or without the "ribs" on the back of it?
