Visited the upholstery shop yesterday and got a couple pics

They built all new wood except for the forward seat backs, but they are going to cover in a layer of fiberglass to help keep them from moving around as much

Here is a couple pics before and during, after will come next week

yea, its all built into one big piece.  Gives it a very clean look, but makes it difficult to service.

I bet a good upholstery shop could build something for your boat.

I hope to be picking it up tomorrow evening  ;D

I've only seen one other boat that they have done so far,  I'll know more after I pick up mine  ;D

I told them that I was posting there name and pictures on SCJB and that they might get some calls from it.

I'll try to remember to ask if they can build something like mine from scratch.

Tell me what you want , which means you'd have to stand there and make sure we're on the same page or at least give a good I dea. It can be done and resined in a day . My first build was very involved and took two days .

The side panels are easy . Hell I have some , upholstered in stock on the shelf . The pulley cover is a little more involved . No biggie.

Well, I picked it up last night  :D

So far I'm very happy with what I see.

I had them modify the front seats a little, moved the driver seat forward and passenger seat back a little, new upholster and padding.  Had them cut down the bulkhead under the dash so I can store some vests and chairs in the bow.  Had them build new inner fender pads on the trailer and make a new bonnet for the velocity stacks.  I told him I was posting pictures and putting the company name on SCJB, so we agreed on $1450.00 for everything.

The only complaint I have is that they had some of the old parts setting on the deck, sticky rings on the deck from drinks?  And what looks like spots in the gel coat from some kind of cleaner (I didn't freak because I'm going to color sand and polish soon).

I'm leaving for Parker as soon as I get out of work today but I'll get some pics posted next week.

I'd give them an 8 out of 10  ;D

Hay Brad, I also gave them a couple SCJB stickers to put up.

Aquaholic,

The address for the Riverside location is at the top of this thread, but they also have a location in Indio.
