There is only minor differences between the 3 other than the bowl. (JB/JG is split bowl, JC is not) Some JB's came with the JA style bearing/shaft.

They all perform pretty much equally in all boat types.

The split bowl is more desirable because you can add wedges/droops/etc

The je has a different suction housing that's grafted into the back of hull/bottom opposed to a suction/intake bolted to the bottom
