You want a 1/4-28 heim end.

Copy, but how do I secure the cable to the upper part of the bracket?   On my old setup there was a small saddle clamp to capture the cable, on the new setup it's a large dia. hole.

You need to buy a 43BC cable, you now have a 43c cable, no way to mount it,  43 BC put thru the hole on the arm with a nut on top and bottom and tighten

Thanks for the info guys.  It is a 43BC cable, the end with the threads/nuts on it is bolted to a bracket at the reverse handle.  I need to fab a new bracket to hold the end in my picture, and then I can assemble/install such as the diverter in the link Mash On It provided.
