I've tried everything to grease my joints besides pulling the motor out I can't get to them with anything, I have a marine power 454 and the inspection hole is maybe 4in in diameter anybody have any suggestions? I've been told I shouldn't have to grease them either.

It's a little late now, but I have always used solid joints with needle Zerks in the caps.
As for not needing to lube them, I can't say I agree, water is the killer, you need to flush then with some lube to push out any contaminants.
My only recommendation would be to swap out the Zerks with needle type, but if you can't lube them, you probably can't remove then either.
Catch 22, welcome to boats. :-
