As I already said, confused myself immensely on these charts.
Hypothetically, and REALLY hypothetically speaking
, where does say 900 or so HP at 6000rpm fall onto those charts? (Theres a few of them on here, so not a far reach!).

It's really not that difficult:

After running the new MPD detailed "A" and only turning 5,800 I told Jack I wanted it cut so I can spin the engine to 6,200 (200 rpm above peak trq) He said " If I cut it back to a "B" it will take a legit 820 hp to turn that impeller to 6,200" I said I got you covered. It spins to 6,200 off the bottle on a 105* day. The MPD blueprinted "B" looks like an A+ on this chart.
I'll post the obsevered dyno sheet later I can't find in on the computer right now. This is the corrected dyno sheet. The observed numbers where 825 at 6,200 and 854 at 6,800 and 857 at 7,000 :

If I ever decided to put my "little" Windsor in a boat this is what I'd start with..... and it made 650+hp at 6,500.

You can set an impeller so it rev's to peak HP, peak trq or somewhere in between. There's really not a good reason to not let a performance engine at least reach peak trq rpm. But it's a matter or choice and what you plan on doing with the boat.
