I have this one. http://www.socaljetboats.com/index.php/topic,1208.0.html Never cavitates so far. But I'm less than 500HP and max speed maybe 70mph.

yeah it's still in the hornet, i think it may slow it down a tad because it loads so hard, but thats ok cause we have the speed limit.

Here is the best I can do right now . I can actually access it real good right now and should pull it out for a close inspection . I was thinkin about a new one but everytime I mess with the set-up , it slows it down .You all know I cant afford that

Omar, I'm concerned about your loader. That is a blocker loader designed to partially block water from entering the pump. It will provide lift for the boat to help it "airout", but in my opinion it will make your boat unload in the corners. The rough water that we create while racing is essentially airing out the boat as well. When drag racing on glassy water, the pump gets sufficient water, but when its rough, you need all you can get. Just my.02

I was planning on using this loader for the Rogers but...

I need to find out if Dominator pumps use the same loaders and impellor's as Berkeley pumps...

Mark, both loaders are very similar and will work on the same pump. As far as helping or hurting, depends on the application. How much HP do you have? These two loaders are very aggressive and will move alot of water ....If you don't have adequate horsepower to move the volume of water that these loaders will move, then it will bog you down.

I am somewhere around 450 but next year I should be around 650.

Every Boat will work differently with different loaders. But the best loader I have found is the CP Performance Super Sport Loader Scoop. It is an all around good loader. I run one in my boat, the CP extreem loader gives me too much lift and with the Sanger intake it tends to block water flow in the turns.

Post some pics of those CP loaders so everyone can see what they offer. I think it's worth the $200 to have MPD custom make one for your application , especially since thats what cp gets for one of those off the shelf!!!

I was told by a reputable shop that my big heavy daycruiser would be helped by an impeller added to the pump. Any thoughts or comments from the peanut gallery? I had never heard of one in a jet boat before.

Are you talkng about an inducer impeller? Cuz, you said impeller and your pump should have one of this thing-a-majiggers!!!

Mmmmm could be. I thought he said impeller but yeah my boat runs so I guess I have all the parts in place. he said there would be some machining involved and it sounded like an impeller for the impeller if that makes sense.

My friend Don has one on his boat. He has a pretty big heavy boat , and he said it made a world of diffrence. He also likes to ski and wakeboard off of his boat. So I guess it made a big diffrence.
As far as the machining goes , you impeller shaft needs a key way inorder to install the inducer.
Basicly the inducer is a seedoo impeller installed on the shaft in front of your impeller.
Ive had quite a few beers , so somebody correct me if I am wrong!

THE INDUCER EMPELLER WILL KEEP YOUR PUMP LOADED AT ALL TIMES AND IT WILL IMPROVE HOW YOU COME OUT OF THE HOLE AND GIVE YOU BETTER RESPONSE WHEN YOU HIT THE GAS.
