Took the Hondo jet boat out today at el cap and the steering was turning the opposite way of what I turned. I just installed a teleflex seastar solutions rack cable  and pinion .  I didn't realize that the setup I have is for starboard side steering. Is there a kit I can buy to switch it? I don't think flipping the rack and helm will do anything. I can't run the cable through the other side of the boat either.  This is what I installed. 😓😫😫😫💀🔫

Just flip it. Might have to re drill the holes. I did the same thing never live that one down. Still broke in the new motor though

Will that fix anything ? It will be on the port side of the boat and have been racking brain if that will work. If you look at the picture it would not make a difference, right?😯

It changes the side the pinion contacts the rack. Reverses the direction.

It will work I have same one just had to flip and re drill 2 holes. Glad to here I'm not the only one that did this
