A suction housing rebuild is basically a full pump rebuild. Most of the parts are in the suction housing yes, but it's a full pump rebuild kit that you need.

You'll also wanna change the shaft bushings in the bowl as well.

I dont have a complete pump, only a suction housing.  Soooo....... why buy a complete kit when i have to buy a new bowl anyways. It should come ready unless i replace my missing bowl with a used one :o

you need to quit bitching about this bowl and do something about it. if i was in your shoes, i sure would.

the complete kit is what you will need if you have a bowl or not...used or new....you will need the gaskets n shit. i will tell you this...if you try to 'piece together' a list of stuff just for the suction housing....it will cost more then a whole kit.....so get the complete rebuild kit minus the impeller...because you are going to use that perfectly normal stainless one, right?  ;)

2sav Brads right your not going to save anything by buying the partials we (industry ) price and arrange these kits intebtionally to be a better buy in kit form with or without impeller You should be around 225 for a very complete kit w/o impeller and a couple "hun" more with  Tom

Steve I am sorry you are so impatient and want everything right now, being I just got the bowl, the one to be converted, from you after the 300. And with the deal that we had, I was under the impression that we were cool till after this last race when I could start working on it. I thought the childish bull was squashed ? I know how you are and understand that you want and are entitled to a bowl, Custom Split Bowl (converted C bowl), These things take a bit of time to make and per our agreement you are paying for the welding. I know it is not in your hands yet, it will be in the near future. If I remember right I'm the guy, (who is now being accused of stealing from you) gave you a resealable droop and quite a few other parts. I guess that does not count for anything. I am sorry you feel as if I screwed you in any way.

I'm sure you do have plenty of boats but it's just the principle of the whole thing.  If you wanna do it let me know I could back you up!!!
Your best bet is to back the fuck off, if he has a problem he could maybe pick up the muther fuckin phone and say something or even send a message via pm or email. As this is the pm I recieved before the race at Parker last weekend, when I offered him to check out the 429 engine build, which had nothing mentioned about a bowl.

Quote from: Fantasy460
Thanks but im kinda stuck at home. Glad to hear your back in it again :D
Good luck in Parker, and try not to grenade another engine. lol

# 1 did you pay me when you took my bowl?  No you did not so why do i have to pay to get it back (welding) And i told you i dont want no throw together bowl POS. And the impatient part how many months does it take ????? the agreement was you were going to get the bowl from Havasu.

#2 the droop,  that was a Used worn out POS!  Even the guy you got it from said so. He told me it should have been cut up and thrown in the trash! Thats why he took it off his boat

#3 reasonable parts that you put in my truck ended up at the recyclers cause it was broken junk!

#4 Screwed me in any way, Um gee let me think $400 for a POS 460 that you said you know nothing about but it turns out the guy that GAVE it to you told you everything about it and you had no problem lying to me about it.  So who's really being childish here ?

And why would i want to pick up a phone, so you can screw me again?

Yes i sent that pm to you,

It was me being the bigger man and not calling it like i should have  Bullshit!

So far its been  Took my bowl tried to take my SS impeller and sold me a BBF POS.

You sucker me in and say i will help you but actually i should have broken the code cause trust me means i will fuck you. Right?

I will give you your $400 back for a complete 460 air cleaner to pan as it was delivered. I could use the block, crank and rods.
