Let me know...woohoo, road trip to AZ!

Well, it's yours if you guys need it, lemme know, kinda sounds like B-rad's gonna use his cruiser, option is still there. We can meet in Wickieup or Kingman maybe.

i dont know how much you can lift the right side right now but i was thinking a floor jack might be a good extra thing to have especially if there's going to me minimal bodies, just to get it off the ground a little

My concern is if the wood, stringers, bulkhead etc. is swullin up and rotted. I went and saw the long nose Hallett tonight and the Sanger in Indian Springs last saturday. The Hallet would make a nice roundy/ drag boat. the Sanger bubble deck would make a nice drag/ cruiser.

Still got the tires sitting here yo! Yeah I got your text earlier jeremy I been sick in bed the past couple days I'm going to try and return to work tomorrow, but we'll see how that goes...after .y second nap today I felt pretty good...anyway g/l with the flip tomorrow...I would come completely prepared if I was you guys...some good wood wouldn't hurt and the floorjack dealio...I would git the boat as much on the side as possible before attempting to tug on it with b-rads boat...he's still kind of a low rider and I would hate to see a jim rich repeated...maybe even 2 boats hooked to it...

What about a hi-lift jack, using a 2x4, 3 or 4 feet long on the lifting point to distribute the weight better?

I also, wish I lived closer to this... Sounds like it has potential to be a VERY fun outing.

I dig this kinda chyt, mang!  and by "dig", I mean literally and figuratively...   ;D

From what I can see, a few old tires. two boats with tow straps hooked to it and a couple guys on shore, should be able to flip it easily. If anything, I would jack it up or lift it and maybe put a tire or two under the shoreline side gunwales of it, then put a few out there to catch it once you flip it. It's already kinda angled to flip easily, with a few guys on shore to get it lifted up and going. Getting it off the shore will be a method of pulling it a little and moving the tires then, over and over again.  The problem is to go easy with the pulling boats, something none of us are used to, lol.

(Pulled many a backhoe and bulldozer out of the muck, rivers, etc. even a few flipped backhoes)

Can be done with one boat, I would think, but the more the merrier, and easier. Be safe on this guys, stay clear when the boats are pulling!

Ray

Gawd this is exciting! wish I was there already!
