hey dan good to see you on the sight. and yes his boat is the ultimate river boat. its a deck boat that does 80 or so.. so pimp. i want one bad.

anyway i think jimmy covered it. blythe itself is 6 miles down a lonely farmroad from mcintyre. so that is the only hurdle getting back to the hotel room.

if there are any more questions feel free to ask. planning for this one is easy for me cause i was going to be there anyway that weekend

One observation when I drove thru yesterday was that the nicest looking place from the outside seemed to have no boat parking at all. Something to consider too . . .

Blythe has lots of place to stay. Many are completely satisfactory and most are all on one main street so you can pick one as you roll in. The campground is nice. Limited showers but clean. Lots of locals show up on weekends as it is only minutes out of town.
What does anyone know about Lost Lake?

I just checked the schedule for the I10 Speedway in Blythe and they won't start there winter series until late Sept., so unless there is a fishing tournament that weekend the motels should be cheep & empty.

ya from what i have heard most of the hotels are boat friendly. it is a 6 mile farm road from intake blvd exit on the 10 frwy. not hard at all. there are quite a few hotels in blythe and you can get them cheap.

the camp ground is nice. its all grass. spots for full hookup motorhomes or just dry camping. tents camp on a grass field so there is no rocks. the bathrooms are clean and have nice showers and there is gas at the marina and a stocked store.

never a big line at the ramp maybe 2 boats at the most in your way.

i hope i have answered most of the questions. as for the hotels jimmy would be the guy to ask because he is lagging ass on buying a trailer down there.
