I've only been on the water near Big River once, but ran from the upper dam down about 2 miles south of Big River and didn't see any fuel on the water.

I Fuel up before I launch and keep a couple extra fuel cans in the truck  ;D

I was thinking about just driving the boat up on the water but was thinking I would like to be able to get gas along the way somewhere. I know I could easily take care of this if I just towed the rig up to BR and launched but if I can avoid using the truck that would be ideal.

I think lost lake has fuel, but I dont know if you can get it from the water, I know there is a pump up by the store

Aiight, reserved my room for Friday-monday morning. Got two beds incase Chromey's wife has a change of heart, lol. Should roll into town by 10 or so, only a 3 hour ride, so maybe B-rad and I can get some head start on the river.

Now to put this PD on the Moo, and fix the alt belt issue, and tighten the pan YET AGAIN, and find yet ANOTHER missing header bolt (It'll be under said pan, they always are). I'm running outta loctite red, lol.

There's my own honey do list for today! (I get ta make up my own! how cool is that? There's bennie's in everything)

The PD is an easy as pie install.

Those MIGHT clear the headers. Had to install some of the bolts with the headers loose, they can never fall out, but can get loose. All the ones I locktited have stayed in thus far. Been a progressive on going program for unruly header bolts, lol. These Rewarders are a PITA to install, had to use about  half 12 point and and half hex head on them when I put them on to begin with. No way your gonna get a socket or box wrench on some of them. The hex heads are the ones coming out, so prolly just not getting them tight enough.

It'll be Ok, the loctite does seem to be working for now, lol If not, maybe weld them to the heads?? :screwy:

Ray

I'll post pics of the PD install, does look pretty easy and straighforward, here goes ANOTHER drilled hole in the transom, lol. (Was mowing grass this morning)

Sounds like a great Idea! Gotta keep some of that on the boat!

Just Talked to RJ (My son, back east for the summer) and told him I'mma gonna be able to toss a pretty good roost with the Moo now. He was asking if it'd be better than his Blue boat, well, YEAH!  :( Don't have the heart to tell him  yet it went down in flames, lol. I'll wait til they come back to tackle that bit of news, then I'm gonna tell him was all Brett's fault!)

Oh lil brother, do you hear the bus coming?  Thump thump! ;D

Anyway, the kids wish everyone a safe Father's day, and Brad a happy bachelor's party (They have NO IDEA what these things normally entail, just that the last one I threw cost me $400 at the, well, boys club I took the groom to, lol, Lord Cin was pissed, but loved the pics!) She never bought into the line that we went out reading scripture to the orphans instead of hitting up a strip club.

Ray,
Ralph turned me on to a little trick on header bolts, use allen head socket bolts, no wrenches to try and fit around the bolt. Solved my issues on the last set of headers I installed. Good luck.
